Type the pages the way you would in a print dialogue: 3 takes page three, 4-7 takes pages four to seven, and commas separate them. Each range becomes a PDF of its own, and several files come together as one zip. The document you opened is not changed.

Edit before you extract
Anything you change first goes into the pages you take out: a corrected line, a signature, a redaction of something that must not travel with the pages.
Tips
- Page numbers are counted from the first page of the file, not from the numbers printed on the pages.
- Want one file with pages from different places? Extract them as one range per file and merge the results, or use organize to remove everything else.
- This is the same tool as split a PDF, which is what to look for when you want to break a document into several parts.
