Edit text in a PDF
PencoPDF changes the text that is already in your document. Your edit takes the original font, size and position, so it blends into the page instead of sitting in a box on top of it.
Questions
- What if the font is not stored in the file?
- Some PDFs do not carry their fonts. PencoPDF then matches the closest one it has by name and letter width, which is rarely distinguishable at reading size.
- Can I edit a scanned document?
- Yes, although it works differently. See editing a scanned PDF.
- Do I need an account?
- Not to edit a document.
- What happens to my file?
- It is deleted 24 hours after your last edit. Files are processed on servers in Germany, and the site carries no tracking.
