- How faithful is the Word file?
- Ordinary documents come out as real paragraphs, headings and tables you can edit. A layout-heavy page, such as a brochure, is kept as closely as the PDF allows, which may mean some text boxes. Have a look before you rely on it.
- Does it work on a scanned PDF?
- A scan has no text underneath, so the Word file carries the page as a picture. Read the words off the scan first with the editor, or use a PDF with real text.
- What does it cost?
- Opening and editing the PDF is free. The converted file is $2, or $19 a year for unlimited downloads. You pay only when you ask for the file.
- What happens to my file?
- It is deleted 24 hours after your last edit. Files are processed on servers in Germany, and the site carries no tracking of any kind.
